About the presenter

Rose Fabiszak

Rose Fabiszak has been Director of CollegeEd at the College Board since 2003.

With her leadership, CollegeEd has successfully co-branded the college and career planning content in School Specialty's Premier™ Agendas: for CollegeEd® planners. In 2009, the program established a successful working partnership with Roadtrip Nation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people to define their own road in life. Together they created an interactive website for CollegeEd users, featuring an extensive video archive of student-led career exploration content, assessments and recommended links tied to CollegeEd lessons.

This year the CollegeEd program was a winner of the Association of Educational Publisher's 2011 Distinguished Achievement Award for Life Skills—Curriculum.

Ms. Fabiszak joined the College Board with more than 20 years of combined experience as a High School Assistant Principal of Guidance, a School to Career Coordinator, Latino community liaison and Spanish teacher—all for the New York City public school system-and as a private school Principal.

She came to the United States as both an immigrant and first-generation college student.
